Cathy is working hard to complete her BS degrees in both Math and Meteorology. In Jan 2009, she won the NASA Nebraska Space Grant research assistant fellowship for her ongoing project of using satellite remote sensing to view air pollution from space, particularly over the eastern Asia region. She was selected by NASA GSFC as a summer undergraduate intern In May 2009, and worked there from June to August 2009.

He received the best undergraduate student award in 2011 from the Earth and Atmospheric Science department. He graduated in May of 2012 with a B.S. in Meteorology/Climatology (with honor). In June he will pursue a Masters of Arts degree in Secondary Mathematics Education. He received the Robert Noyce Fellowship for his masters program.

After graduation with BS., he pursued a Masters of Arts degree in Secondary Mathematics Education under the support of Robert Noyce Fellowship.
