Imran Shahzad

Imran got his M.Sc degree in Physics from The University of Punjab, Pakistan and later completed his MS in Meteorology on scholarship from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Pakistan. In 2010, he got another scholarship from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong for his PhD studies in atmospheric remote sensing.

As an exchange student, Imran worked with Dr. Jun Wang and his group members to develop algorithms for estimation surface visibility through combined use of satellite data, ground-based observation, and statistical analysis.

He is now a tenure-track assistant professor in Department of Meteorlogy, COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, Islamabad, Pakistan.
