Clarissa Dietz currently attends the University of Iowa majoring in Physics with a certificate in Sustainability and minors in Mathematics and Geography. She conducts research under the supervision of Dr. Jun Wang, developing and deploying ground sensors in order to compare in-situ measurements to satellite data and model predictions.

Clarissa is also one of the presidents of the University of Iowa Environmental Coalition and a member of the Society of Physics Students.
