Cassandra recently received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering with a minor in chemistry and certificate in sustainability from the University of Iowa in May of 2019. She will be continuing her studies at the University of Iowa for a one-year master's in environmental engineering. She assists Dr. Jun Wang in community outreach for local installment and use of ground sensors along with data analysis comparing sensor measurements to models and satellite data.

Cassandra is a co-president of the University of Iowa Environmental Coalition, and a member of Tau Beta Pi, and Omega Chi Epsilon engineering honor societies.
