Jessie received her bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering from Tianjin University in China in 2010. She then went to Michigan Technological University for her doctoral study. She received her PhD in 2016 and her doctoral research focused on the impacts of global change on atmospheric chemistry and air quality using GEOS-Chem model. She joined the group in August, 2017 and her current research interests include estimating surface PM2.5 with satellite retrieved AOD using ensemble approach.
