Zhendong got his bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Wuhan University, in China in June, 2019. Then he became a Ph.D. student in Geo-informatics at the University of Iowa. He joined the research group in Fall of 2019. His current research interest include inverting aerosol profiles with satellite-based radar and the impacts of aerosol profiles on radiation balance of the Planet.
